allpa Introduces HikoTerra H4 Hybrid System for Onboard Energy

06-10-2026 at 10:00 hour

New partnership offers yacht builders and installers a compact and modular solution for onboard energy management

allpa marine equipment is expanding its energy portfolio with the H4 Hybrid System from HikoTerra. The modular system combines inverters, battery chargers and LFP batteries in an integrated rack system, designed to significantly simplify the installation of modern energy systems on board.

Traditional electrical installations often require numerous individual components, extensive cabling and valuable installation space. The H4 Hybrid System takes a different approach. The various energy components are installed directly into a rack featuring an integrated copper backplane. This reduces the need for separate DC cables, cable harnesses and external components.

For yacht builders and installers, this can result in significant time savings. According to HikoTerra, installation time can be reduced by up to 50 percent. At the same time, the system remains fully modular. Depending on the vessel's energy requirements, additional modules can be added, with up to 16 slots available per rack.

The H4 Hybrid System addresses the growing demand for efficient and reliable onboard energy solutions. By combining LFP batteries, solar power, inverter technology and a generator, the system makes it possible to reduce generator usage. This can help lower fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions while also providing a quieter energy supply on board.

With an inverter efficiency of up to 97 percent and the ability to operate continuously at full power in high temperatures, the system provides a reliable 230V power supply. Through NMEA 2000 integration, key system data can also be accessed directly through the vessel's onboard electronics.

For allpa, the introduction of the H4 Hybrid System represents a further expansion of its portfolio in the fields of energy management and electrification. The H4 Hybrid System will be available through allpa marine equipment to the marine market from 2027.

With this modular solution, allpa is responding to a market in which space efficiency, ease of installation, energy efficiency and smart onboard integration are becoming increasingly important.
